Clontarf Boys

Last week we were lucky enough to host the Clontarf Boys at the workshop where they learned about the industry, the different career paths, what its like to work in a company like ours and then a tour of our facility.

The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and by doing so equips them to participate more meaningfully in society.

The local chapter based out of Tumut High is headed by locals Matt Chapman and Leon Douglas. We were also lucky enough to have Josh Toohey join us on the visit, another local boy who is the Area Manager. Over the course of the next few months the Clontarf boys will be visiting the workshop to build there very own enclosed trailer that they will be using for the foundation for years to come…
